Book Review: The Spirit-Filled Life Bible

Book Review: The Spirit-Filled Life Bible

The New Spirit-Filled Life Bible is a study bible with an emphasis on the work of the Holy Spirit throughout scripture. Dr. Jack Hayford, founding pastor of The Church on the Way, has led a team of anointed leaders to produce the New Spirit-Filled Life Bible. The features of this Bible include:
  • Kingdom Dynamic—41 themes throughout the Scripture that give us values as we advance the gospel throughout the world
  • Word Wealth—More than 550 key terms defined and brought to life pulling the language from the original Greek and Hebrew to everyday English
  • Truth-In-Action—Practical charts pulling out practical application from every book of the Bible
  • Detailed book introductions to each of the 66 books of the Bible
  • Verse-by-verse study notes
I really enjoy using this bible because it inserts the study help features right on the page I am reading. It makes the scriptures come alive and teaches me things I couldn't know but only reading the scriptures. I especially enjoy the Word Wealth feature  which tells me what a particular word means in the original text. This bible makes me want to read God's Word even more because of all the teaching and insight it provides. There are beautiful color maps in the back, outlines of each book of the Bible, a concordance, a section on hoe to lead a person to the savior, understanding Messianic Jewish Ministry, and much more. I highly recommend this bible to anyone wanting to study the scriptures in an in-depth manner.
