Tooth Tales

I am so thankful to God. Today I had to go to the dentist because my tooth has been hurting for a few months now. I had it filled in November but it has been hurting since then. I thought I would be told the dentist needed to polish the tooth down, but I was told that I needed a crown. The tooth had cracked in several places. He was wondering if I might need a root canal, and also a crown on the tooth next to this one, but he is trying one crown first to see if this fixes the problem.

You may think that starting this post by saying that I am thankful to God is odd, but not at all. In the past I would really be discouraged by this news as this puts us farther in debit. But not today because I am choosing to focus on the Truth that God knows our needs and provides all we need. God is good and things like this are nothing. I am so blessed and thankful!

Debbie I appreciate your encouragement to me and I know that by thanking God first for what you have and your blessings is exactly what you should have done. You know Jesus thanked God before he feed the 5,000, he didn't bemoan what he didn't have but thanked God for what he did have, God honored him and he will do the same for you. Keep the faith!!!

Amen, preach it brother! That is good Word! Thanks for YOUR encouragement! This is the body of Christ and I love the fact that new technologies like blogs can be used for God's purposes! God bless!

I, too, agree with Todd. We have to find ourselves thankful in all things, and that's exactly what you did. Complaining doesn't help anyway, so we might as well be happy in the bad times. Also, the Lord knows better than anyone exactly where we're at. It's a great feeling knowing that He is at the helm!!

I agree, what a comfort to know that nothing surprises God and He can handle anything! He loves us so much,

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
