Book Review: The College Devotional Bible

I was given a free copy of this devotional bible to review, and I must say I'm impressed. My
oldest is just entering college and I believe this will be a great spiritual resource for him. The devotions are interspersed in the bible, near the scripture that is featured in the devotional. That's convenient to say the least. The devotional also asks questions to help the reader delve deeper into the scripture passage.  The devotions are written in easy to understand narrative which is engaging and short enough to read every day.

In the back of the bible there are topical study references such as: 30 stories of great faith, 30 days of prayer, 30 days of knowing God, and 30 days of promises. These are great month long studies where you can read a passage a day on that particular topic. There is also a one year through the bible guide for those  wishing to read through the entire bible in one year.  There is also a subject index.

I would highly recommend this bible as a gift to any college student. It has a sturdy hard cover binding  and an appealing cover.  This bible would be a great tool in any college student's spiritual tool belt.
