My Deliverer

Rich Mullins wrote this song, but I couldn't find the studio version on you tube. It is found on "The Jesus Record" and it is a powerful song. This is a live version. it isn't sung by Rich Mullins because he passed away before it could be professionally recorded. This video is neat because it uses images from the movie "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe." I have always loved these books and this movie, seeing Jesus portrayed as a lion really moves me. May it move you to worship with me.

Hold me Jesus

God is good and boy do I need Him. I have turned into a basket case lately and as if it were not hard enough to work through my grief over my dog Tramp's death, I have made 2 financial mistakes that almost got us into some real trouble. But God is so much more merciful than I deserve. He gave us favor with the bank and all those involved and is fixing my mistake without getting us further in the hole. I am crying out to God through this song, may it minister to you as it has been ministering to me.

Ready for the Storm

This is a video of Rich Mullins singing "Ready for the Storm." He first gives some background behind the song before he sings it. I have always loved this song, I hope it touches you the way it has mine. I want you to notice that although he is singing that he is ready for the storm, it is not in his own strength that he can handle it. In fact through going through storms he has realized that he can trust God, and that is why he is ready for the storm.
