Yesterday was so exhilarating! The children put on the Christmas Where, When and Why Play. God anointed the service and used our children in a powerful way! I couldn't be more proud of them! I want all of you to know that these children had been practicing since September, and they prayed that God would use them and prepare the people at each practice. You see, God will use anyone who is willing to submit to Him. He doesn't require us to be grown-ups before He will use us. and God does not give these children a little "play" faith until they grow up either. Jesus said, Mark 10:13 | | |
People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
We need to have faith like a child, they don't need to have faith like us! Many times as we grow up we start thinking we know more than we do. Children take God at His word. Let's learn from our children. If you are not already serving, pray about what God wants you to do. Be available and trust God. You will be so blessed as you serve God, just like our kids were yesterday!
